Jake Jones

President of General Partnership

As president of the general partnership, Jake brings more than 50 years of experience to Dothan Warehouse. He has worked with companies such as British Oil and Container Corporation of America. Throughout his career he has held such titles as salesman, sales manager, production manager, general manager and director of manufacturing. In his last venture before retirement, Jake served as the vice president and division general manager of the eastern region for Container Corporation of America in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Jake grew up in Montgomery, Alabama. After high school, he joined the Army as part of the 188th Parachute Infantry. From there he attended Auburn University, graduating with a degree in industrial management.

He and his wife retired to Dothan in 1983. In 1987 he accepted the responsibility of Dothan Warehouse. At that time there was only 330,000 square feet of space. Since then, he (along with his son Stan) have grown the business into what it is today. Dothan Warehouse now owns and operates nearly one million square feet of floor space. Jake believes Dothan Warehouse is the lowest cost warehouse operation in the Southeast with a stable workforce and a location that is central to the area. Jake says, “Dothan Warehouse will guarantee the best customer service available.”

Stan Jones

President

Stan has been with Dothan Warehouse since April 2004, serving as general manager. In 2010, he was promoted to president, and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, sales and staff of the warehouse.

Stan’s background includes more than 25 years of experience in the ownership and management of several manufacturing, fabrication and distribution companies located in southeast Alabama.

Working side by side with his father, Jake, they have assembled a team that works very well together. He is proud that the team goes above and beyond to assure our customers satisfaction. His philosophy is simple: "By providing excellent customer service, we reduce the overall cost to our customers. It is amazing what we can accomplish when no one worries about who gets the credit."

Stan graduated from Auburn University in 1977 with a bachelor's degree in marketing. He has been married to Julie for 24 years and is the proud father of four boys.

Turner Jones

Turner has worked at Dothan Warehouse nearly every summer since he was in the seventh grade cutting grass, cleaning the warehouses, applying labels to boxes on distribution accounts, and driving a fork lift. Through the years he has learned most everything required to operate as a 3PL company.

During the summer of 2010, Turner worked directly with Stan and was involved with long range strategic planning and the selection process of an outside marketing company.

Turner will graduate in December 2010 from Auburn University with a degree in finance. Following his graduation, he will join Dothan Warehouse full time where he will concentrate on business development and will further his knowledge on the operation side of the business. Turner’s future plans are to attend Troy University in Dothan, Alabama for his MBA degree.

Pat Willis

Operations Manager

Pat has been with Dothan Warehouse for 12 years and in 2010 was promoted to the operations manager. He works closely with Stan and is responsible for all day-to-day operations of Dothan Warehouse including accounts payable, project bids, personnel, inventory control and building maintenance.

Pat brings with him 14 years of retail experience from companies including K-Mart, Big B Drug Stores, Revco and CVS. He is a 1983 graduate of Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. He has been married for 26 years and is the father of two children.

Pat believes the job is not done until the customer is satisfied and encourages his staff to work the same way.

Bonnie Kilcrease

Operations Specialist

Bonnie joined Dothan Warehouse in May 2010. She brings with her more than 15 years in management, administration and marketing. A self-starter with a positive attitude, she is committed to creating solid relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

As Dothan Warehouse’s operations specialist, Bonnie is the front line for all of our customer's needs. By working closely with the president, operations and warehouse managers, she can help customize solutions for all your warehousing needs.

A native Floridian, Bonnie now calls Alabama home. Married to Mike, and the mother of two beautiful daughters, she enjoys relaxing at home and entertaining family and friends.
